Calling for Board Nominations for the WFoJ

Now in its 22nd year, the WFoJ is the preeminent Jazz Festival in Australia.

Since its inception, the WFoJ has grown into a festival that attracts international acts, interstate visitors and is renowned amongst the Jazz community as a stand out event. The WFoJ is a community based not for profit incorporated association.

Nominations are now being called for the WFoJ Board. The Board is the peak governance body of the Festival and is primarily focussed on strategy and policy rather than operations and implementation. It is skills based board and board membership is open to anybody with the time, passion and skill set we are looking for.

Board meetings are held at least monthly (this varies according to the need). Board roles are unpaid and require a time commitment of approximately 50-100 hours a year (with the Chair approximately 150-200 hours).  Board positions will be allocated on a staggered basis for 1, 2 or 3 years.

To apply please download an application below or call the WFOJ office on 57217724.

Applications must be in by the close of business on the 10th of November.  All expressions of interest will be acknowledged.

The current Interim Board will announce appointments at the AGM on 30 November 2011.
